SPACING SAW TRAINING PROGRAM: MODULE # 3
GENERAL PREPARATIONS FOR SPACING SAW WORK OBJECTIVES
This module is designed to instruct the student in the general preparations for work. Adjustment of suspension eyelet and harness, fuel mixing and starting procedures are examined. Also introduced in this module are the techniques of mapping and strip laying and the concept of piece rate payment.

MATERIAL COVERED
STUDENT PERFORMANCE EVALUATION
Each student must list articles required and discuss other general preparations for work, including adjustment of the harness and suspension eyelet. Fuel mixing and starting procedures must also be discussed by each student. Finally, the concepts involved with strip layout, mapping and piece rate payment methods.
